Why do I love working for Merlin? Because of the culture mainly. My role is to help artists deliver their absolute best work. I love being in a creative environment where each week is different with so many brilliant, exciting projects! I never knew I could have a career with so many possibilities! Merlin encourages community participation and a sense of belonging - I love being able to make a difference with our employee forum and Merlin’s Magic Wand charity.

My career began in 2009 as a LEGO® Model Builder, with my first project being the opening of LEGOLAND® Malaysia in 2012! Merlin Entertainments opened the door to more career opportunities, with great training and a team that always support me. Taking on the challenge of becoming a Team Leader created even more growth and development opportunities.

What first attracted me to Merlin and my role in Project Delivery was the diversity and international scope of the company. We have attractions and teams in every corner of the world and this means that our teams are equally diverse as well. We’re here to make magic - and we do it every single day! I began as a LEGO® Model Builder, then became a Designer and the Health, Safety and Security (HSS) Representative, working at attractions in Dubai, California, Melbourne and Japan. I’m now the HSS and Quality Control Manager for our global LEGO® Model Production teams! Every day is exciting; giving safety advice, reviewing product quality, meeting colleagues... the sky’s the limit!
